Question: What does Medicare cover?
Answer Medicare will cover your blood glucose meter, test strips, lancets, lancing device, control solution and even batteries for people with Type I and Type II diabetes.
Question: Does Medicare pay for insulin?
Answer No. Medicare does not pay for insulin. Only private insurance companies pay for insulin.
Question: How much will my out-of-pocket costs be?
Answer With Medicare and secondary insurance, you may qualify to receive free diabetic supplies. Medicare pays the first 80% and most secondary insurance pays the other 20%. You are responsible only for the deductible, if any.

Question: Are some diabetic supplies really free?
Answer Yes. If you qualify, Medicare or your private insurance pays for their portion of the cost, and you pay only the deductible, if any. Many times, supplemental insurance will cover the difference so you don’t have to pay anything.
Question: Is there a co-pay?
Answer Yes, if do not have supplemental insurance, Medicare requires a co-pay
Question: How do you ship the supplies and what does it cost?
Answer Supplies are shipped by Priority Mail and typically arrive in two to three days. And best of all, the shipping is free.
Question: Do you accept Medicaid?
Answer Medicaid is accepted only as a co-pay, not as a primary payer.
Question: Do you accept HMO's?
Answer No. HMO patients are not eligible for our services.
